COURSE PREVIEWAbout this course
This AWS course provides a complete foundation in cloud computing and AWS services, starting from cloud fundamentals and progressing to advanced identity and security concepts. You will understand AWS global infrastructure, availability zones, regions, and how virtualization powers modern cloud instances. The course compares AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform to help you choose the right ecosystem for different workloads.
You will learn IAM in depth, including users, groups, roles, and policies. We cover JSON policy structure, inline policies, AWS managed policies, and customer managed policies, along with the principle of least privilege. You will also explore advanced role assumption, MFA types, access keys, and secure CLI configuration.
Compute topics include EC2 instance families, Amazon Machine Images (AMIs), and instance selection strategies. Storage fundamentals cover basic volume types and their use cases. Networking and security modules include security groups, Elastic IPs, and Elastic Network Interfaces (ENIs).
You will also learn how to use the AWS console, CLI, and understand the AWS Free Tier. Additional topics include policy evaluation logic, credential report generation, and security best practices.
By the end of this course, you will be able to design secure, scalable cloud architectures, manage identities effectively, and confidently work with core AWS services in real-world environments.
Hands-on labs and practical exercises reinforce learning through real AWS scenarios, including IAM policy creation, EC2 deployment, CLI usage, and security configuration, ensuring learners gain job-ready cloud skills and strong foundational understanding for certifications and production environments and interview preparation readiness support included.
