COURSE PREVIEWAbout this course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Rise 360 is one of the fastest ways to build online courses that look great on any screen. But when you open it for the first time, there's a lot to discover: the dashboard, the outline, the theme, more than twenty kinds of blocks, quizzes, publishing options, and now a whole set of AI tools.
This course walks you through all of it, one feature at a time.
Instead of random clicking, every lesson explains what an option is, what it's for, and when to use it. And everything is shown on one real example: "Your First Week as a Barista", an onboarding course for a small coffee shop chain. By the end, you'll know Rise well enough to build your own course with confidence.
What's inside:
• Getting started – the Articulate 360 dashboard and library, Course vs Microlearning, templates, the course outline and the top bar.
• Designing the whole course – the theme: cover page layouts, navigation types, lesson headers, colors, fonts, block animations, theme styles and brands. Plus every tab of course settings: Source Content, AI Tutor, Translations, Labels and Collaborators.
• Blocks – how blocks work, and every block category: text, statements, quotes, lists, dividers and the Continue button, images and galleries, video, audio, embeds, attachments, accordions, tabs, flashcards, labeled graphics, processes, timelines, sorting activities, buttons, Storyline blocks, knowledge checks, charts and block templates.
• Quizzes – question types, feedback, retries, passing score, timers, randomizing and question banks.
• Review and publish – previewing on desktop, tablet and phone, collecting feedback in Review 360, publishing to LMS (SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, xAPI, cmi5), Web, PDF, Quick Share and Reach 360, plus snapshots, collaboration and translation.
• AI in Rise – generating a full course draft, the AI block, Magic text import, AI images, AI narration, AI avatar videos, Update content and the AI Tutor for learners. You'll see real results – including what you still need to check and fix by hand.
• Build the full course – a final project where we build the complete Bean & Brew course from an empty outline: lesson goals, the right block for every piece of content, practice with feedback, a branching scenario, an accessible design, a final quiz that measures the goals, expert review, and a tested SCORM package.
Every lesson is short and focused, with clear on-screen highlights, so you can watch a lesson and immediately try it yourself. Each section ends with a quiz, and four practical assignments guide you to build your own course. You also get a block cheat sheet, a course planning template and the finished example course to explore. You can follow along on a free Articulate 360 trial.
No previous e-learning experience is needed.
